WT provided quantity surveying services for the construction of a new multi-unit social housing development at 40 Brisbane Street.

The development includes two blocks, one at three storeys, the other at five storeys, incorporating 35 one and two bedroom apartments constructed around a central courtyard.

The development retains the original façade of a demolished warehouse which is incorporated into the new Brisbane Street entrance frontage whilst the southern side of the building is clad in a delicate timber screen.

The project received a commendation in the Residential Architecture Multiple Houses category of the 2013 Australian Institute of Architects Awards.
