Project Description

Client:

Australian Pacific Airports Melbourne (APAM)

Project Value:

$1.66 billion

Since opening in 1970, Melbourne Airport has undergone extensive expansion works and significant capital expenditure. Airport Management accordingly engaged WT’s expertise in condition auditing to provide a better understanding of the quality and condition of the Airport’s assets.

WT prepared the project scope document on behalf of APAM and conducted tender evaluation and interviews. We also provided project management for the preferred respondent for the three month duration of the Phase 1 asset data gathering and condition assessment process.

WT’s role included providing key input into the development of the asset data gathering software tool and designing the templates for asset cost modelling. This ensured the newly acquired data could be presented as a ‘live’ asset maintenance and capital works plan and could also be uploaded to the client’s Facilities Management Software (IBM Maximo).
