Barangaroo South is a true mixed use precinct consisting of commercial office buildings, residential apartments, an international hotel, shops, cafes, restaurants, and cultural facilities. Direct public transport connections, including a major pedestrian connection through to Wynyard station and the city, have been incorporated into the build.

Over the next decade Barangaroo’s financial hub will create a benchmark home for international banks, financial and professional services companies. Barangaroo will take Sydney’s financial services infrastructure to a new level – 300,000 square metres of large floor plate, premium grade energy efficient office space.

WTP was engaged by the Barangaroo Development Authority (BDA) as the remediation QS on the Barangaroo South project.

Remediation of this site includes general solid waste (both putrescibles and non putrescibles), restricted solid waste, hazardous waste and special waste (including asbestos).

The works also include approximately 150,000 m3 of excavation over 3 levels. The basement includes new diaphragm walls, restoration of existing caisson wall and the formation of a new car park for the future construction of the commercial precinct.
