Cornerstone Living is a $400 million, 10-hectare residential community that will create almost 1,000 new homes over a 10-year period. This is a project of substantial scale and significance and is the largest suburban renewal to take place in Queensland.
Cornerstone Living will take shape through the development of a mix of unique housing designs set amidst a number of public open spaces and local amenities to form an exceptional master planned community. A sustainable and diverse neighbourhood will evolve for new residents.
Years of planning with Brisbane City Council and an exhaustive tender process were undertaken by The Queensland Government to establish which developer would deliver its long-term vision and the best outcome for the community. The project is of huge significance, being one of the largest suburban renewal projects to take place in Queensland, and will be delivered progressively over a ten-year period.
The first stage includes 26 one, two and three bedroom Terrace Homes and the second stage includes one, two and three bedroom apartments. The project will establish a sustainable and diverse community by creating quality housing solutions for Sunnybank residents.
WTP is providing estimating, cost planning and value management services for this project as well as Construction Contract Cost Administration and Financier’s Reports. The project commenced on site in early 2014.
