David Stewart

Executive Director (Australia)

David has evolved WT beyond the traditional role of a quantity surveyor, expanding our capacity as a client advisor across the full project lifecycle.

David  joined WT Melbourne in 1988 and progressed through the ranks to become a Director in 1999. He joined the Australian Board in 2015.

David has a broad range of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management skills, having successfully cost managed a range of development and construction projects. These include commercial office towers, hotels, infrastructure projects, low and high rise residential developments, defence, industrial, retail and fit-out projects.

As Director-in-Charge, David manages the various services offered by the WT team, from feasibility studies and master planning at the inception of projects through to pre-contract cost planning and post-contract cost control to tax depreciation schedules and repairs and maintenance budgets.
