The Northern Beaches B-Line Programme (often referred as NBBP) is an integrated package of service and infrastructure improvements designed to provide more reliable journeys between Mona Vale and the Sydney CBD. Improvements to the road corridor and implementation of bus priority measures enhanced the reliability of bus services affected by congestion at several bottlenecks.

Moreover, this programme included the provision of six new commuter car parks, integrated pedestrian and cycle links, a new pedestrian bridge at Brookvale and installation of new modern bus stops.

This route is served by a brand-new fleet of high frequency -turn up and go – double-decker buses.

WT provided cost planning services to Transport for NSW including the provision of cost estimates for the upgrades to existing bus stops, the new Pedestrian Bridge at Brookvale, construction of new cycling corridors, signalisation, and roadworks.

After procurement, WT undertook the role of Independent Estimator for one of the contract packages.
