In 2010, Neumann Petroleum commissioned a new bulk fuel terminal on the Port of Brisbane owned pier at Eagle Farm to facilitate increased deliveries to the existing tank farm located further upriver.

The project consisted of the supply and installation a complete loading / unloading facility, including loading arm, flow meters, fire monitoring equipment and fire extinguishing equipment. A new underground pipeline was also constructed through the busy industrial area of Eagle Farm to connect the unloading terminal to the existing storage tank farm. This consisted of the installation of approximately 3,000 m of DICL pipe, complete with isolation valves and pigging stations for cleaning purposes.

WT assisted Neumann Petroleum with various cost management tasks including consolidation of project costs and co-owner asset value split assessment.
