WT are engaged by Markmoran to provide full quantity surveying services, including cost planning, full tender and post contract administration services through the construction phase for their development at 82 Laguna Street Vaucluse.

The development, which is at the DA stage, incorporates the demolition of the existing buildings on the site formerly occupied by Vaucluse High School and the construction of three separate buildings. The main building will be a residential care facility (RCF) and contain 224 beds and extensive services.

The second building will be serviced self-contained seniors housing (SSSH) and contain 14 one and two bedroom dwellings.

The third building will be single storey with a high level ceiling and will contain a dining area and recreational facilities for use by residents from the RCF and SSSH.

The site is also to comprise 2 basement car parking areas, a loading area, two means of ingress and one means of egress, and a port cochere facing Old South Head Road. The site will contain extensive landscaping.
