Sylvia Walton Building, La Trobe University

WT provided full quantity surveying services for Latrobe University’s Sylvia Walton Building at their Bundoora campus.

The building provides 7,500 m2 of lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, breakout spaces and administration space over six floors for the University’s English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and Foundation Studies and Diploma Programs (FSDP) which were previously housed in the University’s International College located off-campus on Waterdale Road.

The project was tendered based on full documentation with a lump sum for procurement method. WT ‘s team worked very hard with the design team to complete the documentation to minimise any variation in the construction phase.
