WT was commissioned by Dexus Property Group (Dexus) and Scentre Group (SG) to undertake the project price negotiation and recommendation, post contract administration and principals representative role on the retail extension and upgrade works.

The project undertaken by Scentre Group Design and Construction (SDC), comprised of enabling works to enable the demolition and reconstruction of a substantial part of the existing centre and associated deck car park, ambiance upgrade works to the existing mall areas and significant external pavement and roadway upgrades.

The extension included the relocation of Woolworths and Events Cinemas, the introduction of a Fresh Food Market (comprising 36 fresh food and food tenancies) with a central live display facility with both audio and visual for cooking demonstrations, a restaurant precinct, cascading over three levels adjoining the newly relocated rooftop Events Cinema box, some 180 specialty tenancies and over 1,000 car spaces with park assist, ticketing-less parking and number plate recognition capabilities.

The centre, now potentially, sets the benchmark for shopping centres within the Sydney region, with top of the line finishes, artworks, feature lighting and visual and audio displays to the cascading restaurant precinct.

In addition the Centre contains over 15 music zones to cater for the demographic of the shoppers depending on the retail precinct within the centre, includes an embedded network for potential on-selling of power to the tenants, free Wi-Fi access throughout the centre, interactive youth mall columns, valet parking, business suite for hire and marketing events.
