Monarto Zoo located less than an hour south of Adelaide’s CBD is the biggest open-range zoo in Australia (1500-hectares) being home to some of Africa’s most impressive animals including African Lions, Rhinos, Giraffe, Chimpanzees and Cheetah.

Safari Gateway project at Monarto Zoo includes an entry point and a new central visitor centre incorporating immersive learning experiences, retail, catering, conference, staff and volunteer accommodation, along with external landscaping, carparking, and service infrastructure.

The contracting method for the project was a Design & Construct contract, with the Cost Manager staying ‘client side’ to best protect the interests of Zoos SA.

We were engaged to provide full quantity surveying services on the project.
