Monarto Zoo located less than an hour south of Adelaide’s CBD is the biggest open-range zoo in Australia (1500-hectares) being home to some of Africa’s most impressive animals including African Lions, Rhinos, Giraffe, Chimpanzees and Cheetah.
Safari Gateway project at Monarto Zoo includes an entry point and a new central visitor centre incorporating immersive learning experiences, retail, catering, conference, staff and volunteer accommodation, along with external landscaping, carparking, and service infrastructure.
The contracting method for the project is to be a Design & Construct contract with the Cost Manager staying ‘client side’ to best protect the interests of Zoos SA. WT Partnership has been engaged to provide full quantity surveying services on the project.
