The project entails the development of a new world class meat processing facility in the Murray Bridge area to replace the facility destroyed by fire in January 2018, comprising 2 stages

The 2 stages will consist the following works:

  • Stage 1- Beef Processing Plant will include the Rendering of the plant, Pre-packaging areas & carton space, Plate freezer, cold store & associated carton tunnel, Office, Carparking, Staff Cafeteria and amenities, Stock yards (covered & uncovered) and raceways, associated site works, external works and services.
  • Stage 2 – Small stock/lamb processing and expansions of various components detailed above.

The team at WT lead by Sam Paddick assisted TFI in the development and submission of the insurance claim for the facility destroyed by fire in January 2018. WT worked closely with TFI over a period of some 6 months and over that time developed a solid understanding of the processes at the Murray Bridge Facility and the way that TFI operate. WT and Sam also undertook the Plate Freezer/Coldstore project for T&R Pastoral/NAB in 2012.

WT work will provide cost management services on the project to TFI.
