A lot has been said and written about remote working, flexible working and hybrid working. However, at WT we believe in a balanced way of working – recognising that this balance is different for everyone. For some this might be working from the office 5 days per week, for others it might be a mix of remote working and office-based working.

WT’s balanced way of working seeks to optimise work according to where and how employees work best and to enhance your experience and wellbeing, whilst boosting organisational outcomes and setting a foundation for future growth.

Each employee can discuss and agree on a balanced way of working with their manager/director. We have therefore moved away form a formal policy but instead have developed a set of principles which, at the core, must provide the best balance between the interests and outcomes of employees and the business and do not adversely impact the interests or outcomes of the business.

Our offices will continue to be the most central and accessible place to bring all employees together and commitment must be shown to attending face-to-face meetings, events, and training programs. Activities including coaching and development for cadets and graduates and the onboarding of new starters will always be delivered in the office.

Balanced way of working Principles

These principles should be read within the context of your employment contract and all of WT’s policies and procedures.
