WT is pleased to announce the appointments of Sarah Witchell and Matt Figgis as State Directors, further strengthening the firm’s technical capability and supporting continued growth across key markets and sectors.
Joining WT in February 2026, Sarah Witchell has been appointed State Director, based in Sydney, with a focus on the NSW healthcare sector, while Matt Figgis joins as State Director, based in Canberra, leading WT’s public & civic sector in the ACT.
WT Chief Operating Officer Heidi Mitchell said the appointments reflect WT’s ongoing investment in senior leadership to support clients delivering complex projects across government and infrastructure sectors.

Sarah Witchell brings more than 16 years’ experience delivering large, complex projects across Australia and the UK, with a strong focus on healthcare infrastructure.

Matt Figgis brings more than 33 years’ experience across Australia, the UK, and Asia, with extensive expertise supporting government clients across a wide range of sectors.
