Leading international project advisory firm WT has announced the appointment of Tim Bessell as National Sports & Venues Sector Lead, based in Brisbane.
In his new leadership role, Tim will guide WT’s national strategy and delivery across the sports and venues sector, which continues to grow as cities invest in legacy-defining infrastructure.
Over nearly two decades, Tim has delivered cost management and commercial advisory expertise to major venues such as the MCG, Marvel Stadium, AAMI Park, Allianz Stadium, Optus Stadium, and planning for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. He also led WT’s cost and program review for the GIICA 100-day report, supporting recommendations that will shape Queensland’s Games infrastructure pipeline.
