Matt is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 33 years’ experience delivering cost management and advisory services across Australia, the UK, and Asia.
Matt joined WT in February 2026, based in Canberra. He began his career in the UK with a global consultancy, where he developed a strong foundation in commercial and public-sector advisory services. This role also included a secondment to Singapore, where he worked on the integration of a local consultancy following its acquisition. In 2007, Matt emigrated to Australia and established a cost management function in Canberra, growing it into one of the region’s most respected and reliable teams.
He brings extensive experience supporting government clients at local, national, and international levels. Notably, Matt has delivered cost management services for more than 60 Australian Government embassies and chanceries overseas, providing trusted commercial advice across complex and sensitive project environments.
In addition to his government-sector focus, Matt has broad experience across commercial, education, justice, defence, and residential sectors. He is recognised for his steady leadership style, deep technical capability, and ability to build long-term client relationships.
