Set against the backdrop of Hobart’s historic Cadbury Factory in Claremont, the Cadbury Chocolate Experience will deliver one of the world’s most extraordinary visitor attractions.

Set to open in 2027, the $120 million centre is designed to immerse guests in the craft, heritage and joy of chocolate-making, drawing more than half a million visitors to Tasmania each year.

The project will feature multisensory experiences – from flavour whirlpools and the aroma of liquid chocolate to live chocolate production, interactive storytelling and indulgent tastings in the Chocolate Lounge. The precinct will also include retail, dining and landscaped recreation areas, with convenient ferry access from Hobart making it a major tourism destination for both locals and visitors.
