The Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link program is an important part of TfNSW vision to create an integrated road and public transport network, balancing the needs of motorists and local communities.
The Western Harbour Tunnel stretches from the Warringah Freeway at Cammeray across Sydney Harbour to the WestConnex interchange at Rozelle.
The Beaches Link provides an alternative to the Spit Bridge for the Northern Beaches connecting through the Warringah Freeway and Gore Hill Freeway.
WT provided construction cost estimating services for the Initial Optioneering and Concept Design phases of the project, including cost advice for capital expenditure, constructability, risk modelling, cashflow and escalation, and whole of life costs. Our successful participation in providing construction costs and risk advice contributed towards approval to continue design development.
