After much anticipation, we are thrilled to welcome Alberto Fernandez to the Queensland team. As Associate, Alberto’s role will be centred around colleague support and growth. He will also be taking every opportunity to mentor our younger team members in their career development, while offering us a wealth of knowledge to draw upon – particularly in the sporting and stadium sector.
In his 13 years of experience, Alberto has built an extraordinary portfolio of experience in a myriad of areas embedded with the construction industry. None more prominent, however, than his specialisation in sporting venues; a realm where he has developed profound expertise.
After working in public health, school, hotel, and housing construction, Alberto took on a new chapter, working with premier European soccer team, FC Barcelona. Here, Alberto worked on multiple projects involving the building, renovation, capacity increase, construction, landscaping, and refurbishment of sporting stadiums in Spain. There are fewer people more qualified to take on sporting construction projects than Alberto, and as Australia anticipates the arrival of sports teams from across the globe in 2032, we could not be welcoming him at a better time.
Alberto will be an incredible asset to our growing team which in turn will be nurtured by his people-focused work ethic, and team engagement practices. Welcome to WT, Alberto!
