Leading international project advisory firm WT has been appointed to the Australian Government’s People Panel – Professional Contractor Services, established by the Department of Finance.
The Panel is a Whole‑of‑Australian‑Government arrangement that brings together a number of legacy panels into a single, coordinated approach for sourcing specialist professional contractors. All non‑corporate Commonwealth entities subject to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 must engage eligible services through the Panel, including Treasury; Health and Aged Care; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts; Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water; Services Australia; and the Department of Defence for applicable people services.
WT has been appointed across four service categories: Contract Management, General Financial Services, Organisational Planning & Development, and Programs and Projects. The appointment supports Commonwealth agencies across the full project and program lifecycle, from early planning through to delivery and operations.
Heidi Mitchell, Chief Operating Officer at WT Australia, said the appointment reflects WT’s trusted role advising government on complex programs and projects.
“We’re pleased to be appointed to the People Panel and to build on the work we already do supporting Commonwealth entities on some of the country’s most significant programs. Our focus is on bringing independent, commercially disciplined advice that helps agencies make confident decisions, manage risk and deliver value for taxpayers.”
“What our clients value most is the way we bring cost, commercial and program expertise together, backed by deep sector knowledge across Defence, infrastructure and the wider public sector, to deliver sustainable value.”
The appointment builds on WT’s long‑standing work with Commonwealth and state government clients, providing independent cost management, commercial advisory and program assurance services across defence, infrastructure, property and social infrastructure portfolios.
WT supports clients in Australia across property, construction and infrastructure with an award‑winning team of 500 specialists in portfolio and program advisory, cost management and quantity surveying, commercial advisory, carbon and sustainability, asset and facilities management, and digital solutions.
