Stephen Bolt brings over 40 years’ experience in cost management, contracts, claims and dispute services across the built environment.
As National Manager – Contracts, Claims and Disputes, Stephen leads WT’s specialist contracts and disputes team, providing strategic direction and technical leadership across all sectors. He specialises in the preparation and defence of complex quantum and time-related claims and in supporting clients through all stages of dispute resolution.
Stephen has extensive experience in adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation, acting in a range of roles including advocate in pursuit and defence of claims, independent expert, expert determiner and court referee. He has been cross-examined in both court and arbitral proceedings and is regularly engaged to provide contractual advice, expert opinion and training. His work is supported by expertise in estimate validation, commercial and risk management, and statistical and analytical reporting.
Stephen is a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Fellow of RICS and a RICS Registered Expert Witness, with professional membership of the Resolution Institute.
