Returning back to the region, say hello to our Newcastle Office.
We are proud to announce our return back to the Newcastle region with our newly opened Newcastle office, and having last had our own office space in the region up until 1998, we could not be more thrilled to finally be back.
With a large client base within the region, we wanted to ensure our availability to both our clients and projects by having an office situated locally.
Our team have worked hard over the last year to re-establish a footprint within the region, and the entire WT team would like to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of one man in particular, Kyle Hutchinson, Associate Director.
Taking control of the reins, Kyle has been busy laying the foundation for our success, spending majority of his time in Newcastle reconnecting with old clients and establishing connections with new ones.
A member of the PCA Hunter Future Directions Committee, Kyle has demonstrated immense commitment to our growth within the region, and we cannot wait to see the growth and success of both our business and partnerships with all our clients.
When asked about his decision to lead the Newcastle office, Kyle says:
“My journey of quantity surveying started in Johannesburg South Africa in 2010 during the FIFA Soccer World Cup. In 2016 my wife and I embarked on a new adventure spending 4 years in the UK, followed by landing on Australian shores in January 2020.
This 10-year journey through the first part of my career has allowed me to work on some fantastic projects internationally and gain valuable experience in various sectors.
WT has always had a presence within the Hunter Region whether it be a physical office or project related. Having a young family now, the region epitomises the lifestyle we are looking for and where we see a long-term future as a family.
The opportunity to lead the WT team in Newcastle and contribute to the region in a positive way; creating relationships and making personal connections is something I am looking forward to.
A problem shared is a problem halved, and we at WT look forward to continuing to develop our presence in the region and importantly making a positive impact on the projects we are lucky enough to be involved in.”
