The project utilised the existing solar generation farm located on the site to create and store chilled water to meet the campus’s overnight cooling requirements, providing both a reliable source of cooling for the campus’s critical cooling equipment and an environmentally sustainable solution for this high energy demand service.
The project comprised of the following:
- Electrical and mechanical plant building housing HV transformers, LV electrical services, chillers, and associated control equipment
- Chilled water ring main throughout the campus
- Electrical reticulation to the existing solar farm and mains backup supplies
We provided a full suite of QS services including Concept Design Estimating, Detailed Design Estimating, Value management, Tender Analysis & Recommendation, Progress Valuation and Variation Assessment.
