WT has harnessed the power of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to support the ongoing management and maintenance of a major correctional facility in Australia.

Being constructed under a 25-year design, build, operate PPP contract the Eastern Goldfields Prison Redevelopment project includes a new 350 bed prison, catering for both genders across all security ratings adjacent to the existing 100 bed prison.

The Hopkins Correctional Centre project is an expansion on the pre-existing Ararat Prison, which has bolstered the facilities’ capacity to house medium security male inmates and provide them with brand new medical, education, visitor, and recreation centres.
