The Port of Eden is an active working port which supports a variety of recreational, commercial, and port vessel operations on the south of New South Wales.

The port is often exposed to severe weather conditions, particularly wind and wave which affects maritime safety and port operations.

The NSW Government is developing plans and studies to deliver solutions that will provide a safer harbour for local and visiting vessels and improve the protection of existing maritime structures within Snug Cove, Eden.

WT has been appointed by TfNSW to provide cost concurrence (peer review) services at Concept Design stage. WT reviewed the documentation ensuring that the cost estimates were aligned with TfNSW guidelines and Industry’s Best Practices, provided benchmarking data and produced a number of recommendations to improve the accuracy of the risk-adjusted estimates.
