The project comprises of the redevelopment of the existing swimming centre which includes the following:
- 8 lane, 25m indoor pool
- 11 x 20m indoor learner’s pool
- 10 lane, 50m outdoor pool
- 14m tall waterslide tower
- A zero-depth waterplay area
- All-access changerooms with showers, toilets and lockers
- Multipurpose meeting room
- Shade shelters, picnic seating and barbeques.
Each pool will have an all-access entry via ramp or lift. Aquatic wheelchairs will be available for public use.
The project is going out to tender shortly with construction anticipated to begin September 2023 and ready to open for Summer 2024.
We are providing full quantity surveying services on the project.
