The Union Quarter project is one of Australia’s largest privately developed build-to-rent projects. Its being developed on a two-hectare site at 31-69 McLister Street in Spotswood, a former industrial suburb about 10 kilometres west of the Melbourne CBD.
It comprises 300 apartments as well as 34 dwellings that will provide specialised accommodation under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, within a six and nine storey structure. The lower levels will house a neighbourhood activity centre, a Woolworths supermarket, a Dan Murphy’s, medical, health and fitness tenancies and other specialty retailers as well as a town square.
Stage one construction of the neighbourhood activity centre is being funded by ANZ Institutional Banking.
Construction is expected to be complete in late 2023.
We are providing Quantity Surveying services for the development.
