The aim of the Optus Stadium project was to deliver a new, world class stadium to be used for concerts and sporting facilities in Perth.

It has a 60,000-seat capacity.

We undertook business case support, master planning and cost planning services for the project definition phase of the project utilising extensive experience and benchmarking data from our recent experience on AAMI Park, Etihad Stadium, Adelaide Oval and the Melbourne Cricket Ground on behalf of the WA Government.

Following release to market, we provided strategic advisory services to one of the bidders through provision of Lenders’ Technical Advisory, Facilities Management and cost advice.

We provided full Quantity Surveying Services to the West Australian Sport Centre Trust as the developer for this project and provided Independent Certifier and Financiers’ Certifier Services to the WA Government in conjunction with Savills Project Management.
