The project comprises the construction of an elite, purpose-built training and administration base for St Kilda Football Club and associated stakeholders at Moorabbin Reserve in Moorabbin.
The Moorabbin Reserve redevelopment includes:
- New administrative facilities and a community football hub with dedicated offices
- Training facilities
- The oval and associated facilities for use during for finals and other high-profile community-based games
- Venue for VFL team training and matches including change rooms, umpire facilities and warm up
- Lighting to allow for training and potential community level night games
- Commercial activities including (the existing) 68 gaming machines, bar and cafe facilities
- Water sensitive urban design to harvest stormwater and reducing pollutants
