Barangaroo Headland Park, NSW

Barangaroo Headland Park will provide a new vantage point for Sydneysiders and visitors alike to watch the action on Sydney Harbour at the same time as they soak up the atmosphere of six hectares of lush, naturalistic parkland.

There will be cycleways and walking paths which will bring people right down to the waters edge where they can touch the harbour in sandstone rock pools.

WT assisted Barangaroo Development Authority (BDA) by providing independent review/cost estimates of the parklands and open space.

Works for which cost estimates were provided include bulk earthworks, sea walls, sandstone features and retaining walls, hard and soft landscaping, feature lighting, playing fields, amenities buildings, flood lighting, inground services and drainage, BBQ facilities, furniture, planting, cycleways and footpaths.

The Hedland Park will be completed in 2015.
